At the beginning of 2015 in conjunction with the Archaeological Mission to the Theban Necropolis of the Université libre de Bruxelles, the University of Liège, and La Cambre, Brussels, we started conservation work on the surviving paintings in the newly discovered tomb of TT C3.  This included stabilising the surviving painted ceiling in the long hall of the tomb as well as the conservation treatment of a beautifully painted fragment of detached wall painting which was excavated near the entrance to the tomb.  It was found in several pieces and had to be stabilised, the pieces joined and the whole section backed to provide a stable support.
